History of GET A GRIP
Cary started her bass playing career with a young Coventry band called ‘The Finx’ back in the day and were reviewed in Alternative Sounds. The band played original material including ‘Get a grip’ and after another name change in 1980 to ‘L’homme De Terre’ this track made an appearance on the ‘Boys and Girls come out to Play’ EP master minded by a local band ‘The human Cabbages.’

Fast forward to the mid eighties and Cary joined a country and western band who recorded ‘Get a Grip’ for inclusion on their cassette album;

2018 – Cary has re-recorded the song for her new album ‘Only The Night Knows’. She plays all instrumentation (apart from drums) on this version
